The Magic Porridge Pot

 This term our Talk For Writing text is The Magic Porridge Pot. We have orally recited the story many times and are now able to imitate it confidently. 

The Hook

 One day, early this term a magic pot appeared in our room. Where did it come from? Who put it there? Does it's magic work? These were just some of the inquisitive questions that were asked.

The pots illuminating lights led us to believe it may have some magical powers. We also found an old porridge tin next to it. We were a little confused by what we discovered but then we found a note which read "Dear Room 6, Look in your trays and see if you can piece the puzzle together." Our questions were answered when we found words in our trays. We worked together as a class to put the words in order to see what it spelt out. They spelt out "The Magic Porridge Pot". That's how all the fun began!

Over the past week we have been innovating our story. We have created our own text Jake and the Magic Pasta Pot. This is a must watch!

Now that we have innovated our text we will be writing the story over the next couple of weeks!
